Lenny

Leonard ( Lenny ) came in to our lives pretty much after we lost two out of our three Goldens at early ages to Cancer within one week of each other last March, 2008.

We called LIGRR because we felt it was time to rescue a Golden Retriever and give our next dog a home for the rest of his life. I saw Lenny who's previous name was Atlas on the LIGRR web site and called immediately. We were told that he was somewhat of a character and when we met him he sure was happy to see us.

We have had Lenny now one year and he is the love our lives along with Sophie who went through a lot when she lost her brothers. Sophie and Lenny are best friends now and they are always together. In the picture Lenny is sitting on the lounge chair with our daughter and Sophie with her human mom. We want to thank the folks at LIGRR for helping us take our mind off a terrible time in our lives and sending Lenny home with us forever. We are extremely grateful.
